Oftentimes people ask, why did you name your company Polar Block Home Buyers? It is my favorite question to answer because I get to proudly say, because I get to carry on the legacy of my Papa Sam! Papa Sam had a company called Polar Block Sales, he made Ice machines. We lost him too soon, despite this he made a profound impact on me.
After he passed and as I grew older I learned more and more about the man Papa was through my family. A few things stick with me, he loved his family deeply, he was a unique character always doing things his way, most importantly he always sought to help people in need oftentimes anonymously never looking for recognition. I seek to run my business in a way that would make him proud and enables me to serve others the way he did.
My family says they see a lot of him in me, part of that I am sure is because we share a love for the outdoors. I grew up in the Chicagoland area, graduated from Butler University (Go Dawgs!) in Indianapolis and quickly moved to Colorado chasing bluebird powder days. In addition to skiing, I love to fly fish, Golf, hike, bike and enjoy everything else our great state has to offer.
With each closed transaction we donate a portion of proceeds to local charities. We are here to stay and look forward to serving our community and increasing our impact for years to come.
